Enigio has been awarded patents for the digital original document invention behind their trace:original solution.
The patents were issued by the Republic of Singapore on 26 July 2021, followed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office on 25 January 2022.
Enigio’s digital original document invention behind the trace:original solution is officially recognized by the USA under patent number 11,233,657 and by Singapore under the number SG11201909905WA.
The title of the application is: “Method and system for registering digital documents.”
The patent document describes how to securely, create, manage, trace versions, and manage possession of transferable digital original documents.
These patents will be valid until 3 May 2038, in Singapore, and 7 August 2038, in the USA.
The invention behind the trace:original solution has already received a patent in Sweden, where the firm is based, with patents pending in Europe, Hong Kong, China, and India.
“The global patents are appreciated acknowledgements and proof of the trace:original solution’s uniqueness, for the digitalisation of all types of original documents,” Patrik Zekkar, CEO of Enigio, said.
“It’s also recognition of Enigio’s position at the forefront in this market.”
Enigio will continue to develop and serve the enhanced need for digitalisation in various industries, particularly in trade finance, transport and logistics, and certificates.
