CHICAGO: In a move to expand client services, RedRidge Diligence Services has appointed Allison Winchester as an Associate Director. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing scoping and budgeting, as well as scheduling the lender diligence field exams both domestically and abroad.
Prior to this, Allison spent over a decade serving in various roles within the credit department at MB Financial Bank – refining her skills as a credit analyst and relationship manager during the global financial crisis before taking charge of due diligence coordination and review of the commercial, speciality finance and asset-based lending portfolios. She then went on to enhance her banking experience working directly for the Chief Credit Officer – focusing on credit policy enhancements, efficiency and process improvements, while expanding her report capabilities.
Cory Ryan, Managing Director at RedRidge Diligence Services, comments: “Our intention is that Allison plays a critical role contributing to the reputation and reliable relationships RedRidge has with its clients. We are delighted to have someone with such a strong track-record join our expanding team.”
Allison adds: “Having known RedRidge since inception, I have seen it develop into a proven market leader for diligence. The opportunities open to us to continue our exceptional level of service while further developing our product offerings are endless. Being able to utilize my experience at a firm that partners with its clients to help them succeed is a great opportunity.”
This move comes as, moving into 2019, specialist due diligence providers like RedRidge are seeing increased pick-up from smaller and larger corporates alike. Fundamental changes to the industry are responsible for this – particularly with regard to an evolving lending climate, which has seen banks scaling back as a result of increasingly stringent regulation and a resultant increase in alternative finance providers. While these new players bring a welcome burst of liquidity, their size dictates that they do not have in-house due diligence capacity, which has resulted in increased demand for specialist, outsourced due diligence services.
