FCI held its 53rd Annual Meeting virtually, with a highly successful, informative and in-depth programme involving over 30 leading industry experts via panel discussions on the latest trends and challenges in the Global Factoring and Receivables Finance Industry.
Following the Council Meeting which took place within the event, a new Executive Committee has been elected for 2022.
The Chairman is confirmed as Ms. Daniela Bonzanini, Head of International and member of the Board of foreign Subsidiaries, Banca IFIS, Italy.
In her first act, the new Chairwoman announced the appointment of two Vice-Chairmen, Mr. Çagatay Baydar, TEB Faktoring, Turkey and Mr. Joaquim Durany Seto, Caixabank, Spain, influenced by their strong performance, having received the most votes during the election.

- Mr. Amit AGARWAL, Emirates NBD, UAE
- Mr. Julio NIELSEN, Eurocapital S.A., Chile
Prof. Benedict Oramah, President, AfreximBank was also chosen as the Executive Committee representative of the Affiliate Members.
The new Executive Committee will be working with the Secretariat to deliver a strong programme of activities designed to develop a 5-year strategic plan to bring the association to the next level and confirming its reputation as the “Voice of the Industry”.
As Ms. Daniela Bonzanini, newly elected Chairwoman of FCI mentioned:
