Get startedNew Zealand Export Credit (NZEC) is New Zealand’s export credit agency, and a unit within the Treasury.
The agency works alongside other government agencies to promote New Zealand exports and export-related investments. NZEC do this by providing tailored trade credit insurance and financial guarantees, backed by the New Zealand Government.
Its role is to complement and not compete with the private sector. In this way, it provides support to smaller and growing firms, as well as offer market capacity to larger firms, and security through economic cycles and market disruptions.
NZEC have an experienced team with specialist skills in corporate banking, trade finance, risk management and credit analysis.
