SLECIC is an enterprise established by the Sri Lanka Export Credit Insurance Act No: 15 of 1978. The corporation is a statutory body that falls under the purview of the Ministry of Finance & Planning. With more than three decades of robust presence, SLECIC is committed to providing an attractive and innovative package of Export Credit Insurance and Guarantee support services for the development of exports of Sri Lanka.
SLECIC is also a member of the prestigious Berne Union, a worldwide alliance of credit and investment insurers.
